Callaway Took a Direct Hit from Michael
Callaway was in the worst of Hurricane Michaels path in October 2018. Roofs came off, attics got soaked, and a lot of homes were under tarps for months before permanent repairs got done. Even now, years later, we are still finding Callaway attics where the roof was replaced but the insulation underneath never was. Wet fiberglass that dried in place still has compromised R-value. Insulation mixed with shingle debris and roofing nails is not insulation at that point, it is contamination.
