What is Blown-In insulation?
Blown-in installation is a method that refers to “blowing” or spraying the insulation product into walls, floors, and attics. Many homeowners throughout Panama City insulate their attics with Blown-In Insulation.
Blown-in insulation is made of loose-fill fiberglass that is spun and blown into fibers, which gives it a certain look, unlike batting insulation, which is rolled up. What is interesting about blown insulation or “cellulose” is that it conforms in the cavities of the walls, wires and any obstruction. This type of insulation takes careful work, if you want it to perform best and look neat.
What is the Purpose of Blown-in insulation?
Blown-in insulation will help your home stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Blown-in or loose-fill better insulates areas and is less room for error since it is a better quality than batting insulation.
The better the insulation, the more effective your home will be during the hot and cold seasons, which is why the importance of experienced insulators is a must.
